This is a pattern for a basic sewing machine requiring basic sewing skills and is quick and easy to make, even for beginners. The trickiest bit is adding the binding to the edges.
It features a pocket and side ties.
You will need the following:
1 metre/yard light to medium weight cotton fabric for the outer and inner fabric; half a metre/yard 4 oz (135 g) wadding or foam stabiliser; 2 m of 16mm or 25 mm width bias binding; 1 m ribbon; matching threads; scissors, ruler, pins, sewing machine.
The sewing pattern describes how to make your dust cover to fit your machine.
You will get a PDF sewing pattern as a download. These instructions have been checked over by myself extensively, and tested. If you get into any problems with any of the instructions, please feel free to email me and I will get back to you within 24 to 48 hours to help you.
I would really appreciate your feedback please, so please leave a review or email me your comments and suggestions. I would also love to see a photo of the finished cover!
